he Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria (N&MCN) (Established by Decree No 89 of 1979) is the regulatory Body of the Nursing Profession in Nigeria concerned with Nursing Education, Registration and Practice.

The N&MCN established the Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPDP) and inaugurated committees in all the states of the Federation to update all Practicing Nurses on current trends in nursing education and practice for effective client care.

Our Rationale

  • To expose nurses to current development as well as new trends in health and nursing care
  • To sharpen the knowledge and skills of Nurses on better ways of rendering quality, individualized, goal directed nursing care using the Nursing Process approach.
  • To constantly bring to the fore health issues as regards nursing education and practice and collaborative care.
  • Be a requirement for participation in council activities and especially, renewal of licence

NURSES HOUSE, Oluyole, Ibadan, Off Mobil Filling Station, Ring Road, Ibadan.

Registration Fee is N40,000.00
Those that had paid N20,000 earlier for this edition
will have to pay additional N20,000
Registration Fee is now N40,000 (Forty Thousand Naira).

Important Notice
Any money paid into MCPDP Oyo State Account cannot be fully refunded. 15% will be deducted.

Other conditions for Refund due to inability to attend workshop:
  • 4 weeks notification or earlier to commencement of workshop will attract additional 10% making total of 25% deduction.
  • Between 2 - 3 weeks notification to commencement of workshop will attract additional 15% making total of 30%
  • From 2 weeks to the commencement of workshop, there shall be no refund and it is not transferable to another edition of the workshop or any other person.
